Our Verdict
Lury: Make an Offer is best suited for Shopify merchants who are comfortable with price negotiation and want to provide customers with the opportunity to make offers on their products. It's a targeted approach aimed at boosting conversions on specific items or collections. SweepWidget Giveaways Contests, conversely, is a better fit for merchants looking to broaden their reach, increase brand awareness, and generate leads through viral giveaways and contests. Merchants prioritizing rapid customer acquisition through social media engagement should strongly consider SweepWidget. Given the relatively small number of reviews, thorough testing is recommended for both apps before committing to a long-term strategy.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
SweepWidget, through purchase-based contest entries, could indirectly increase average order value by incentivizing larger purchases to gain more entries. Lury could increase sales volume, but not average order value.
Does either app offer a free plan?
The provided data does not contain pricing plan information for either app. Check the Shopify App Store listings for the most up-to-date pricing details.
Which app is easier to set up and manage?
Without user reviews discussing ease of use, it's difficult to determine. Lury's rule-based system might require some initial configuration, while SweepWidget's social media integrations could present a different set of complexities.
Which app is better for dropshipping stores?
SweepWidget may be a better starting point because of the importance of gaining attention early on with a dropshipping store. Lury: Make an Offer may not be beneficial for these stores, as the product margins can be very thin.
Which app is better for generating leads?
SweepWidget's email integrations are explicitly designed for growing newsletter lists, making it a better choice for lead generation. Lury captures emails and phone leads, but the primary purpose is offer negotiation.
