Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a complete SEO solution that includes more than just product descriptions, Lyros ‑ Smart SEO & Tags appears to be the stronger choice. Its GPT-5 powered features such as image analysis for tagging and automatic alt-text generation offer a more holistic approach to boosting traffic. However, Smash AI Description is suitable for merchants who need a fast and efficient way to generate product descriptions, particularly those with large catalogs and the need for multi-language support. Its slightly larger number of reviews suggests it may have a slightly more established user base, even if its rating is marginally lower. The choice will ultimately depend on the merchant's specific SEO needs and priorities.
