Our Verdict
Choosing between Lyve: Shoppable Video & UGC and Metafields Guru depends entirely on your specific needs. If your primary goal is to leverage video content to boost sales and engagement, and you're looking for an all-in-one platform for creating shoppable videos and livestream events, Lyve is the clear choice. Its AI-powered personalization and multi-channel distribution capabilities are powerful assets for modern ecommerce.
However, if you need to add custom data to your products, variants, or other elements of your store, and want more control over the structure and information displayed on your storefront, Metafields Guru is the better option. It's indispensable for merchants who require a flexible and data-driven approach to storefront customization, even if it requires some technical proficiency. For merchants with both requirements, integrating metafield data with video might require additional development or custom integration.
