Lyve: Shoppable Video & UGC vs WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Managerfor Shopify (2026)
Lyve: Shoppable Video & UGC and WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager are both Shopify apps with perfect 5/5 ratings, but they cater to drastically different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Lyve focuses on enhancing the customer experience and driving sales through shoppable video content, offering features like AI-powered personalized video feeds and integrations with platforms like TikTok and Instagram. It aims to increase product discovery and conversion rates by making video content directly shoppable across various channels, including the Shop App. WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager, on the other hand, addresses backend data management, specifically the challenge of bulk editing and managing product metafields, which Shopify's native admin interface doesn't handle efficiently. It allows merchants to view, edit, and export metafield data, catering to merchants who need precise control over product data beyond the standard Shopify fields.

Our Verdict
Lyve: Shoppable Video & UGC is the clear choice for merchants prioritizing visually engaging content and aiming to boost sales through interactive video experiences. It's ideal for brands with a strong social media presence and a desire to leverage video marketing. WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager, conversely, is essential for merchants who need precise control over product data and find Shopify's standard metafield management capabilities insufficient. It simplifies bulk editing and data export, streamlining product information management. For merchants solely focused on optimizing the customer journey with video, Lyve is the better fit. For merchants struggling with messy product data, WebAppsLive is the more useful tool.
