Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing the immediate and tangible browsing experience on collection and blog pages, Magepow Infinite Scroll appears to be a suitable choice, especially given its claim of customization without coding. This is beneficial for those seeking a quick UX improvement. However, given the limited reviews, it's crucial to test it thoroughly.
Merchants more concerned with overall site performance, SEO ranking, and conversion rates should consider Swish: Page Speed Booster. While its rating is slightly lower, it has a larger review base, suggesting broader usage and a more tested product. Swish offers a potentially more significant impact on revenue by improving overall site speed, which is a crucial factor for online business success.
Common Questions
Which app requires coding knowledge for full customization?
Magepow Infinite Scroll claims to offer customization options without any coding. Swish: Page Speed Booster does not state explicitly whether or not coding is needed, suggesting it may involve some level of technical configuration or optimization.
Which app will directly improve my SEO?
Swish: Page Speed Booster specifically mentions improved search engine ranking (SEO) as a key benefit. Magepow Infinite Scroll indirectly benefits SEO by improving user experience and potentially increasing time spent on site, but this is not its primary focus.
If my collection pages are loading slowly, which app should I choose?
Both apps could potentially help with slow loading collection pages. Swish: Page Speed Booster will improve the overall page speed, including the collection page. Magepow Infinite Scroll will help by reducing the need to load new pages, creating a faster browsing experience. Testing both may be required to see which provides the best result.
Which app will have an impact on mobile devices?
Swish: Page Speed Booster's description explicitly mentions improving page speed across every page and device, suggesting mobile optimization. Magepow Infinite Scroll does not explicitly mention mobile optimization, but an improved user experience on collection pages would likely translate to mobile users too.
Does Magepow Infinite Scroll work with themes that have infinite scroll built in?
The app description doesn't mention compatibility with themes that already have infinite scroll features. It is likely that using both would cause conflicts, so it's best suited for themes without this feature.
