Magic 360 vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
Magic 360 and ReelUp-Shoppable Videos+ Reels both enhance product presentation on Shopify, but they cater to different visual strategies. Magic 360 focuses on providing interactive 360-degree views of products using static images. Its strength lies in allowing customers to examine products minutely, potentially increasing confidence and reducing returns. The app requires merchants to prepare a series of high-quality images from different angles to generate the 360-degree effect. It supports customizations for speed and autospin. ReelUp-Shoppable Videos+ Reels, on the other hand, leverages the popularity of short-form video content by enabling merchants to easily import and showcase videos from platforms like TikTok and Instagram. It aims to boost conversions by creating engaging shoppable video experiences similar to those found on TikTok, effectively increasing time spent on site and potentially improving SEO. Key to ReelUp is performance, promising no impact on page load speed, and ease of use, allowing for single-click import of user-generated content. ReelUp also supports multicurrency and geolocation features.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Magic 360 and ReelUp depends heavily on your product type and marketing strategy. Magic 360 is ideal for merchants selling products where detailed visual inspection is critical to the buying decision, such as intricate jewelry, electronics with complex designs, or items where the customer needs to see every angle. However, it requires investment in high-quality product photography.
ReelUp is more suitable for merchants who want to leverage the popularity of short-form video content and create a more engaging and social shopping experience. It's especially beneficial for products that are visually appealing in motion, such as fashion apparel or activewear, or when UGC is readily available. Given the significant difference in review volume and rating, ReelUp appears to be generating more positive customer experiences overall, but the choice ultimately depends on the merchant's unique requirements and resources.
