Magical Make an Offer vs Quantity Discounts ‑ Selectorfor Shopify (2026)
Magical Make an Offer and Quantity Discounts - Selector both aim to optimize pricing and boost sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach this goal with fundamentally different strategies. Magical Make an Offer focuses on personalized negotiation, allowing customers to propose their own prices and engaging in a back-and-forth that can drive conversion, particularly for unique or potentially overpriced items. This app seems geared toward merchants who are comfortable with a more hands-on approach to sales or who want to offer a more interactive customer experience. Quantity Discounts - Selector, on the other hand, emphasizes automated discounting and bulk purchasing incentives. It provides tools for creating tiered discounts, product bundles, and 'buy X get Y' promotions. This approach targets merchants looking for a streamlined, set-it-and-forget-it solution to increase average order value and clear inventory. The app's strength lies in its ease of implementation and the ability to customize the discount widgets to match the store's branding. The significantly higher review count for Magical Make an Offer (169 vs 40) may indicate broader adoption, though Quantity Discounts - Selector boasts a slightly higher average rating (4.9 vs 4.6).
