Our Verdict
For a Shopify merchant selling comics and managing subscriptions, Manage Comics 2 Subscriptions is clearly the better choice. It offers tailored features for this specific niche, and the positive rating and higher number of reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly experience. Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand's significantly lower rating and minimal reviews raise concerns about its functionality and reliability. Unless a merchant specifically needs a print-on-demand solution (and is willing to take a risk based on the app's current rating) and no other options exist, Manage Comics 2 Subscriptions is the recommended app for comic retailers.
