Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants operating in the DACH region requiring full compliance with local fiscal regulations (KassenSichV and RKSV) and needing a point-of-sale solution integrated with their accounting, OpenFiskal TSE & RKSV for POS is the clear choice, despite the potential complexity of fiscal laws. Its perfect rating and existing user base further support this. However, for general Shopify merchants seeking a simple and cost-effective mobile-based inventory tracking solution using barcode scanning without specific fiscal compliance needs, ManilaTag would seem to be the option to explore. However, the complete lack of reviews for ManilaTag raises serious concerns about its reliability and functionality; merchants should proceed with extreme caution and seek alternative solutions with proven track records.
