Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants who manufacture their own products from raw materials, Materials Inventory is the clear choice. Its dedicated features for managing bills of materials, tracking production costs, and preventing overselling due to raw material shortages offer significant advantages. The higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a more established user base and greater satisfaction within its target audience. However, if the primary goal is to optimize warehouse operations, streamline order fulfillment, and improve picking efficiency, Picqer might be a better fit. Despite fewer reviews, its focus on warehouse-specific workflows could provide greater benefits for larger online stores with established warehousing processes.
