Our Verdict
For makers and manufacturers requiring precise control over raw material inventory, bill of materials, and product profitability tracking, Materials Inventory is the clear choice. Its features directly address the complexities of production environments. SKELTA Buy X Restrict Y appears to serve a very different purpose, likely related to implementing purchase quantity rules, which doesn't directly address inventory tracking in a manufacturing setting. Without a fuller description of SKELTA, a more concrete recommendation cannot be made. If a merchant's need revolves around managing complex product builds and material costs, Materials Inventory is preferable.
