Common Questions
What is the key difference between Materials Inventory and Wipeout?
Materials Inventory manages raw materials and finished goods, while Wipeout manages the visibility of out-of-stock items on your storefront.
Which app is more suitable for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is *specifically* tailored for dropshipping, but Wipeout could be useful to hide out-of-stock items if your supplier's inventory is unreliable. Materials Inventory is likely irrelevant as dropshippers typically don't manage raw materials.
Does Materials Inventory help with forecasting demand?
While it helps with planning ahead by knowing your real-time inventory and offers low inventory alerts, it does not explicitly state demand forecasting. You can likely derive insights by analyzing historical data.
Can Wipeout be customized to hide products based on criteria other than 'sold out'?
Based on the description, Wipeout's primary function is to hide and publish based on inventory levels (specifically sold-out status). The app doesn't seem to support customization based on other criteria.
Is Materials Inventory difficult to set up?
The description highlights that it is 'Easy to use: Intuitive & easy to use so you can focus on your business', but set up would still require significant data entry and configuration to define raw materials, products, and their relationships.
