Measura: Sell by Weight & More vs WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigifor Shopify (2026)
Measura: Sell by Weight & More and WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi are two Shopify apps targeting different needs within the retail space, despite both falling under the 'Selling in person' and 'Retail' Shopify categories. Measura is specifically designed for merchants who need to sell products by precise measurements such as weight, length, area, or volume, both online and through Shopify POS. Its key strength lies in fractional inventory management and automated inventory adjustments with each order, making it ideal for businesses like grocery stores, fabric shops, and hardware stores. In contrast, WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi (based on limited information) likely focuses on improving customer communication and support via WhatsApp, which appeals to a much broader range of merchants. It is a more general tool that may enhance customer service but doesn't directly address inventory management or measurement-based sales. The primary difference lies in their functionality: Measura addresses a very specific niche of measurement-based sales and fractional inventory, while WhatsApp Chat Button likely caters to a broader need for customer engagement and support. Measura's value proposition centers around enabling a previously difficult selling model (selling by weight etc.) on Shopify. This is reflected in features like volume-based discounts based on measurement, and the ability to create draft orders with measurement-based items. WhatsApp Chat Button, conversely, probably provides a simple way for customers to contact the business via WhatsApp, and likely enhances customer support. The review counts, 14 for Measura and 1 for WhatsApp Chat Button, further highlight the contrast in adoption and potentially represent a more mature user base for Measura.

Our Verdict
Measura: Sell by Weight & More is the clear choice for merchants who sell products by measurement and need to manage fractional inventory accurately. Its focus on specific business needs makes it invaluable for shops like groceries or fabric stores. If a merchant's business is dependent on the ability to sell by weight, length, volume or area, there is no substitute for Measura based on the information provided.
WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi, on the other hand, could be useful for a broader range of merchants seeking to improve customer communication and provide instant support through WhatsApp. However, given the limited information and few reviews, its effectiveness compared to other similar apps is difficult to ascertain. If a merchant is not selling by measurement, and are instead looking to enhance their customer support features, a dedicated customer service tool would be a better investment than Measura.
