Mebiz Store Finder and OpenFiskal TSE & RKSV for POS are both Shopify apps operating within the "Selling in person" category, but cater to vastly different needs. Mebiz Store Finder aims to help customers locate physical stores, boasting features like bulk uploading store locations and customizable maps. It's positioned as an easy-to-use solution for businesses with multiple physical locations looking to improve discoverability. However, its current 1-star rating based on a single review suggests potential issues with user experience or functionality. Its strengths lie in providing compliant receipts with QR code signing, automatic Z-reports, and seamless bookkeeping integration. OpenFiskal's focus is on regulatory compliance and financial reporting for in-person sales in specific European countries. It provides features like printed receipts with QR codes for signing, extended Z-reports for accounting, and cashbook management for bookkeeping. With a perfect 5-star rating and 37 reviews, it appears to be a well-received solution for merchants in the DACH region who prioritize compliance and integrated bookkeeping within their Shopify POS system. The core difference lies in their purpose: Mebiz focuses on store discoverability, while OpenFiskal ensures regulatory compliance for POS transactions.
