Meeri: Push Notifications vs Mobile App & Push ‑ MobiLoudfor Shopify (2026)
Meeri: Push Notifications and Mobile App & Push ‑ MobiLoud both aim to enhance customer engagement through push notifications, but their approaches and target audiences differ significantly. Meeri focuses on web push notifications, designed to recover abandoned carts, run flash sales, and engage with website visitors, leveraging AI for personalization and automation. It's built for stores looking to boost sales directly through their website. Mobile App & Push ‑ MobiLoud, on the other hand, is designed for merchants with a MobiLoud-built mobile app, focusing on sending automated order and shipping updates to app users, fostering a better mobile customer experience. The core distinction lies in the platform: Meeri targets website visitors via web push, while MobiLoud targets mobile app users. Meeri provides broader functionality, including abandoned cart recovery and promotional campaigns, while MobiLoud offers a more focused set of features specifically for order and shipping updates within a mobile app environment. Both apps boast a 5/5 rating, but Meeri has a slightly larger (though still small) number of reviews, suggesting it has been adopted by a few more merchants.
