Meeri: Push Notifications vs NeuCurrentfor Shopify (2026)
Meeri: Push Notifications and NeuCurrent both aim to enhance customer engagement and drive sales for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they take distinctly different approaches. Meeri focuses narrowly on web push notifications, offering AI-powered features for abandoned cart recovery, flash sales, and personalized messaging. It positions itself as a specialized solution for maximizing the impact of push notifications. NeuCurrent, on the other hand, is a broader AI-powered CRM and retention platform, encompassing email, SMS, and push notifications. It aims to provide a unified hub for managing all customer communications and leveraging AI for personalized experiences and retention strategies. NeuCurrent offers a more comprehensive suite of tools, including a drag-and-drop builder, advanced RFM analysis, and real-time insights, catering to merchants seeking a holistic CRM solution. Meeri's strength lies in its focused approach to push notifications, providing features like browse abandonment campaigns and automated abandoned checkout recovery. While both apps offer AI-driven features, NeuCurrent emphasizes AI for customer retention strategy development, whereas Meeri emphasizes AI for personalized web push notifications. The review counts, though small for both, significantly skew the perception of social proof towards Meeri, despite both having perfect ratings. This needs to be taken with caution given the small sample sizes.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing web push notification performance and seeking a specialized tool for abandoned cart recovery and flash sales, Meeri: Push Notifications is the better choice. Its focus on AI-powered push notification campaigns makes it ideal for merchants looking to maximize conversions through this channel. However, for merchants requiring a comprehensive CRM solution with multi-channel communication capabilities (email, SMS, and push) and advanced features like RFM analysis and AI-driven customer retention strategies, NeuCurrent is the superior option. Its unified platform and broader feature set cater to merchants seeking a holistic approach to customer engagement and retention.
Given the very small sample of reviews for both products, real-world experience and further testing will be critical to making a decision. Merchants should also consider their existing CRM infrastructure and communication strategies. If push notifications are a core component of their strategy, Meeri's specialization might be highly beneficial. However, if a complete overhaul of CRM and retention efforts is required, NeuCurrent's more robust feature set may prove more valuable long-term.
