Meety: Appointment Booking App vs Tevello Courses & Communitiesfor Shopify (2026)
Meety: Appointment Booking App and Tevello Courses & Communities cater to distinct yet overlapping needs within the digital goods and services category on Shopify. Meety focuses primarily on appointment scheduling and management. Its strength lies in its comprehensive booking features, calendar integrations, and customer management tools designed to facilitate seamless booking experiences for service-based businesses. Tevello, on the other hand, centers on online course creation, digital product sales, and community building. Its core value proposition is enabling merchants to monetize their expertise by offering courses and digital assets directly within their Shopify store, fostering customer engagement, and driving upselling opportunities. The primary distinction lies in their functional focus. Meety is tailored for businesses that offer services requiring scheduled appointments, such as consultations, personal training, or salon services. Tevello is geared towards merchants who want to create and sell online courses, workshops, or digital downloads. Both apps aim to increase sales and customer engagement, but they achieve this through different mechanisms: Meety via efficient appointment booking, and Tevello through educational content and community interaction. While both offer customer portals, they function very differently: for Meety, it's for appointment management, while for Tevello, it's for community features and course access.

Common Questions
Can I use both Meety and Tevello?
Potentially, yes, depending on your business model. If you offer both services requiring appointments and online courses, you could use both. However, consider if the cost and complexity of managing two apps outweigh the benefits. Start by assessing which solution addresses your most pressing need.
Which app is easier to use?
Without user testing, it's hard to definitively say. Both apps boast high ratings, suggesting a positive user experience. Meety's simplicity might be a slight advantage for basic appointment scheduling, while Tevello's complexity might be warranted given the scope of its community and course creation features.
Does either app handle physical product sales?
Yes. Tevello supports bundling physical products with courses. Meety focuses on services, although it could potentially integrate with Shopify's product system by allowing a user to 'book' a product for a service related to that product.
Which app offers better value for money?
Value depends on your specific needs. Meety's value lies in its appointment scheduling features and integrations for service-based businesses. Tevello provides value by enabling you to monetize your knowledge through courses and build a community. Compare their pricing plans and features to determine which aligns best with your budget and requirements.
Which app is better for customer retention?
Both apps can improve customer retention, but through different methods. Meety improves retention by providing a seamless booking experience and automated reminders, reducing no-shows. Tevello fosters retention by building a community around your brand and providing valuable educational content. Tevello probably has the edge for pure retention strategy.
