Mega Callback vs XB Recruit Profor Shopify (2026)
Mega Callback and XB Recruit Pro, while both appearing in the 'Forms' category on Shopify, cater to entirely different needs. Mega Callback focuses on enhancing the customer experience and driving sales by providing a callback request option for shoppers. Its aim is to build trust and improve conversions by enabling merchants to quickly connect with potential customers. In contrast, XB Recruit Pro addresses the internal operational challenge of hiring, offering tools for managing job postings, applications, and candidate tracking. It's designed to streamline the recruitment process for businesses looking to expand their team. The significant difference in intended purpose, therefore, dictates which app is relevant to a merchant's current priorities.

Our Verdict
The choice between Mega Callback and XB Recruit Pro is straightforward. If your goal is to improve customer engagement, build trust, and potentially increase sales by offering a convenient callback option, then Mega Callback is the relevant app. Its current 5/5 rating, albeit based on a limited number of reviews, suggests positive user experiences. However, exercise caution until a more substantial review base exists. Conversely, if your primary need is to manage the hiring process, then XB Recruit Pro is the more applicable tool. Despite lacking any current reviews, it directly addresses the needs of businesses focused on recruitment and workforce expansion. If you need to engage with potential customers, Mega Callback is the choice. If you need to engage with potential employees, XB Recruit Pro is the correct application.
Common Questions
Are these apps suitable for the same type of Shopify store?
No. Mega Callback targets businesses seeking to boost sales by improving customer contact. XB Recruit Pro is aimed at businesses that are actively hiring and want to manage the recruitment process more effectively.
Does the 'Forms' category mean they both create forms for similar purposes?
Not exactly. While both might use forms (Mega Callback potentially for callback requests, XB Recruit Pro for application forms), their underlying goals are different. One is sales-focused, the other is HR-focused.
Which app is likely easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, it's hard to definitively say. Mega Callback seems simpler in scope. However, both apps promote streamlined processes, suggesting a user-friendly interface. Further testing and reviews would be needed for a confident assertion.
What is more important: High Rating vs Zero Rating?
While a 5/5 rating is positive, with only 13 reviews it is not as significant as a higher number of reviews. No rating means it is hard to know if the App is good, bad or not worth using.
What are potential downsides of these Apps?
Potential downsides of Mega Callback could be its effectiveness in attracting more business and/or being too intrusive. A potential downside for XB Recruit Pro is needing to have a robust recruiting process to make the App work well.
