MenuMonkey ‑ Menu Duplicator vs Progus COD (Cash on Delivery)for Shopify (2026)
MenuMonkey ‑ Menu Duplicator and Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Operations - Other' category, but they address entirely different merchant needs. MenuMonkey focuses on simplifying menu management, enabling merchants to duplicate, export, and import navigation menus. This app is primarily targeted at stores with complex or frequently changing menus, or those managing multiple Shopify stores with similar navigation structures. Progus COD, conversely, is geared towards optimizing Cash on Delivery (COD) order processes, offering features like 1-Click order forms and smart COD rules. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. MenuMonkey offers convenience and efficiency in menu administration, while Progus COD aims to increase COD sales and mitigate associated risks like failed deliveries. The apps serve distinct merchant profiles: MenuMonkey is for those seeking operational efficiencies in website navigation, and Progus COD is for businesses heavily reliant on COD payments and seeking to improve their conversion rates and risk management in that payment segment. Initial impressions based on available data suggest significant user adoption of Progus COD, while MenuMonkey lacks initial traction based on reviews.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with managing complex menus or operating multiple Shopify stores with similar navigation requirements, MenuMonkey ‑ Menu Duplicator presents a potentially time-saving solution. However, the lack of reviews at this stage suggests caution and further investigation before commitment. Conversely, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) is clearly targeted at businesses where COD is a significant payment method. The app's features, such as the 1-Click order form and the smart COD rules, are designed to boost conversions and mitigate risks associated with COD orders, making it a potentially valuable investment for such businesses. The existing 5/5 rating (albeit with a small sample size) suggests initial positive user experiences.
Therefore, if a store is primarily concerned with menu management efficiencies, MenuMonkey might be considered after further validation. However, for any store significantly reliant on Cash on Delivery payments and aiming to optimize that channel, Progus COD is the more compelling option based on the current available data.
