Our Verdict
For merchants heavily reliant on Mercado Pago and seeking to improve their checkout conversion rates by prioritizing this payment method, Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts might be beneficial, despite its low number of reviews. However, the limited reviews suggest exercising caution and potentially exploring alternatives with stronger social proof.
Price List Pro - products list is the clear choice for businesses needing to create and distribute product catalogs in digital or print formats. Its higher rating and more substantial review count indicate greater user satisfaction and reliability. Merchants engaged in B2B sales, wholesale, or needing to provide detailed product information beyond the online store will find this app far more valuable.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing overall store sales?
While Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts *claims* to increase sales through optimized checkout, it only works by highlighting Mercado Pago which means it is less likely to produce overall sales growth than having detailed, customizable product lists like Price List Pro provides. However, that depends on how frequently customers use Mercado Pago.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, both apps can technically be used at the same time. However, they address completely different needs. One focuses on checkout optimization, the other on product catalog creation. Their functionalities do not overlap, so there are no conflicts.
Is Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts only useful if I heavily use Mercado Pago?
Yes. The primary value proposition of Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts is to prioritize the Mercado Pago payment option. If you have few customers using Mercado Pago it will provide extremely limited value.
Does Price List Pro - products list integrate with my existing product data in Shopify?
Yes, Price List Pro's description mentions pulling product information like description, image, variants, stock, SKU, barcodes, vendor, and compare-at price directly from your Shopify product data, making the setup process easier. Assuming the app connects to the Shopify API properly in 2026.
Which app requires more setup and maintenance?
Price List Pro likely requires more setup and maintenance. Creating and customizing multiple price lists, ensuring data accuracy, and updating them as product information changes will demand more effort than simply adjusting payment provider order in Mercado Pago Ordena checkouts.
