Our Verdict
Currently, WhatsApp Re‑engage appears better suited for merchants specifically seeking automated order notifications and abandoned cart recovery solutions via WhatsApp. The app description provides clear insights into these features, and the fact that it uses the WhatsApp official API suggests a more robust and compliant integration. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice. Mercuri, despite its perfect rating, suffers from a lack of detailed information; its value proposition and target audience remain unclear. If a merchant requires the explicit features mentioned by WhatsApp Re-engage, it is worth exploring, potentially with caution, and careful review of its onboarding process and customer support. Merchants prioritizing a proven track record (even with limited reviews) and broad SMS/WhatsApp marketing capabilities may prefer Mercuri if they get clarification around its features. Further investigation would be vital.
