Mergify: Combine, Merge Orders vs Workflow Automation—React Flowfor Shopify (2026)
Mergify: Combine, Merge Orders and Workflow Automation—React Flow are both Shopify apps that address order management, but they do so with significantly different focuses. Mergify specializes in consolidating multiple orders into a single shipment to reduce shipping costs. Its primary strength is order merging, promising to maintain data integrity across inventory, analytics, sales, and tax reports. Workflow Automation—React Flow, on the other hand, is a broader automation tool, focusing on workflows for order fulfillment, customer tagging, marketing, and other operational tasks. The key difference lies in their scope. Mergify caters to merchants specifically looking to optimize shipping costs by combining orders going to the same address. Workflow Automation—React Flow targets merchants seeking to automate a wide range of tasks throughout their e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, customer management, and marketing integrations. One is niche and shipping-focused, while the other is a general-purpose automation platform.
