Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a robust and feature-rich solution with bulk editing, data migration capabilities, and an Excel-like interface, Metafields Guru is the better choice. Its established user base and positive reviews further solidify its position as a comprehensive metafield management tool.
However, for merchants who value simplicity and ease of use above all else, Native Metafields offers a more streamlined experience. Its centralized view and focus on quick edits make it a suitable option for those who want to efficiently manage metafields without complex features. If retrieving the liquid syntax is a priority, Native Metafields is the only option since Metafields Guru does not explicitly mention this capability.
