Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing data migration and the flexibility of self-hosting their metafield data on AWS S3, Metafields Manager is the stronger choice. Its higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest greater user satisfaction and reliability. However, for merchants needing comprehensive metafield application across all Shopify resource types (including customers and orders) and requiring readily available 24/7 support, Metafields2 is the better option. Its support system is a significant advantage, particularly for those less comfortable with technical aspects of metafield management.
