MetaMind Size Chart vs OPTIS Product Options, Variantfor Shopify (2026)
MetaMind Size Chart and OPTIS Product Options, Variant both hold a perfect 5/5 rating in the Shopify app store, but they serve very different purposes. MetaMind Size Chart focuses exclusively on providing a user-friendly way for merchants to create and display size charts, aiming to reduce returns and improve customer satisfaction by offering clear and customized sizing information. It allows merchants to import data, assign charts to specific products, and fully customize the design and placement of these charts. OPTIS Product Options, Variant, on the other hand, is geared towards enabling merchants to offer a wider range of product options and variants, a broader function. While the data does not provide specific features of OPTIS, it's clear that it allows for significant product customization, judging by the “Product variants” category. The massive difference in the number of reviews (1 vs 1536) suggests that OPTIS is a much more established and widely used app, likely because it addresses a broader need for product customization, while MetaMind tackles a niche within the apparel and related industries.

Our Verdict
For merchants in the apparel, footwear, or related industries grappling with high return rates due to sizing issues, MetaMind Size Chart is the clearly superior choice. Its focused feature set on creating visually appealing and informative size charts directly addresses that pain point.
However, if a merchant's primary need is to offer a diverse range of product variations, customization options (colors, materials, engravings, etc.) or to create product bundles then OPTIS Product Options, Variant is the more suitable option. While its specific features are unknown, the high number of reviews suggests it is a robust solution for managing product variants, which implicitly means more product customization.
