Our Verdict
For merchants migrating from platforms *not* explicitly supported by Store Migration, or those needing to import product data from various online sources (even smaller or less structured ones), Migratify: Copy Products + AI appears to be the better choice due to its URL scraping and broader platform support. The AI-powered editing feature can also save significant time. However, if migrating from one of the platforms *supported* by Store Migration (Square, Lightspeed etc.) and prioritizing data security and reliable transfers through a first-party Shopify app, Store Migration might be preferable, even with its lower rating and fewer reviews. Merchants should consider the specific source platform and data structure when deciding. New Shopify merchants may appreciate the familiarity of an application from Shopify. Those comfortable with third-party applications and whose source platforms fall outside of the direct support of the first-party app would be better suited to Migratify.
