Our Verdict
Mikawaya Subscription is best suited for Japanese-speaking Shopify merchants looking for a comprehensive subscription management solution with advanced marketing features and dedicated support. Its focus on the Japanese market and features like CRM integration suggest a more advanced and involved solution. Conversely, RVI Recently Viewed Products is a simple, easy-to-use app ideal for any Shopify merchant seeking a quick and effective way to boost sales by reminding customers of products they've already shown interest in. The lack of reviews for RVI Recently Viewed Products should be taken into consideration.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
RVI Recently Viewed Products is likely much easier to set up, as it features automatic integration. Mikawaya Subscription requires linking Shopify products to the app.
Which app is better for improving customer retention?
Mikawaya Subscription is specifically designed to improve customer retention (LTV) through its subscription management and marketing automation features. RVI Recently Viewed Products contributes to sales, but its impact on retention is less direct.
Which app offers more comprehensive features?
Mikawaya Subscription offers a wider range of features, including subscription management, CRM integration, LTV analysis, and advanced marketing tools. RVI Recently Viewed Products offers a singular, focused feature.
Which app is better for a merchant who doesn't speak Japanese?
While Mikawaya Subscription may support English, its primary language and focus are on the Japanese market. RVI Recently Viewed Products, whose headline is in German, may be a better option if the merchant's store is German-speaking or uses English. Further research would be necessary to determine the full range of supported languages for both apps.
Should I choose Mikawaya Subscription or RVI Recently Viewed Products if I want an all-in-one solution?
Neither app is an 'all-in-one' solution. Mikawaya is focused on subscription-based businesses. If you need an all-in-one solution, you need an app that includes features for subscription management, customer service, marketing, etc. You would need to do additional research beyond these two apps.
