Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive subscription management solution, especially in the Japanese market, Mikawaya Subscription appears to be the stronger choice due to its established track record (indicated by reviews), focus on support, and variety of subscription-specific features. Its experience running a Shopify subscription business gives them practical insight. However, for makeup and skincare brands specifically aiming to improve product discovery and conversion rates using AI-driven personalization, StellaAI holds potential, despite the lack of reviews. Brands must carefully consider the risk associated with a new, unproven app versus the specific functionalities offered by StellaAI for beauty sector merchants.
