Our Verdict
For merchants needing a robust Single Sign-On solution to manage numerous user accounts and streamline login processes across various platforms, miniOrange Single Sign On‑SSO is the clear choice, especially given its positive user reviews. Its support for multiple IdPs and features like Single Logout make it suitable for larger organizations or those with complex user management requirements. Conversely, MP Hide Price & Access Control is better suited for merchants primarily focused on managing pricing visibility and content access based on customer segments, especially those dealing with wholesale or VIP customers. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating suggests a cautious approach may be warranted until user feedback becomes available. Consider the app's support and update frequency before committing to it, given that there are no user reviews to rely on.
Ultimately, the 'better' app depends entirely on the specific needs of the Shopify merchant. If SSO is paramount, miniOrange wins. If controlled access and price visibility are the main concerns, MP Hide Price & Access Control may be worth exploring (with caution due to lack of reviews), provided its feature set aligns with business requirements.
Common Questions

MP Hide Price & Access Control seems easier due to its visual dashboard and "no coding required" claim, whereas miniOrange SSO likely requires more technical expertise to configure with various IdPs.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, technically you can use both, but ensure they don't conflict. For example, having multiple authentication methods might confuse users. Carefully plan how they interact.
