miniOrange Single Sign On‑SSO vs WebPanda | Login to See Pricefor Shopify (2026)
miniOrange Single Sign On‑SSO and WebPanda | Login to See Price, while both concerning accounts and logins, cater to distinct Shopify merchant needs. miniOrange SSO focuses on streamlining user authentication and management through Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities using various Identity Providers (IdPs). It targets B2B and B2C stores seeking to simplify the login process for both customers and employees by integrating with existing identity management systems like Azure AD, Okta, or custom IdPs, and also adds the benefit of synchronizing user data and access control. WebPanda, in contrast, is purpose-built for B2B stores aiming to restrict access to pricing information and 'add to cart' functionality to registered customers only. Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
WebPanda | Login to See Price is likely easier to set up since it primarily involves configuring visibility settings within Shopify, while miniOrange Single Sign On-SSO requires integration with external Identity Providers (IdPs), which can be more complex.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but careful planning is needed. WebPanda could hide prices initially, while miniOrange SSO could then authenticate users to grant access. However, this could lead to a confusing user experience if not implemented correctly.
Which app is better for a small B2C business?
Neither app is ideally suited for a small B2C business without specific needs for either SSO or price hiding. Standard Shopify accounts and login mechanisms are usually sufficient. miniOrange SSO might be overkill, and price hiding is rarely needed.
Does miniOrange Single Sign On-SSO replace the default Shopify login?
miniOrange Single Sign On-SSO can be configured to either replace or supplement the default Shopify login. It provides alternative login options through various IdPs.
What happens to existing customer accounts when using WebPanda | Login to See Price?
WebPanda | Login to See Price leverages existing Shopify customer accounts. It simply restricts what visitors *without* accounts can see, and potentially allows you to display or hide features based on customer tags.
