Mipler — Advanced Reports vs Take a NAPfor Shopify (2026)
Mipler — Advanced Reports and Take a NAP are both Shopify apps in the Finances category, but they serve drastically different purposes and target very different merchant demographics. Mipler is a comprehensive reporting and data visualization tool designed to provide merchants with deep insights into their store's performance. It offers advanced features like custom report building, metafield and tag analysis, automated report sharing, and an AI assistant for report creation. Take a NAP, on the other hand, is specifically tailored for merchants operating or planning to operate in Bulgaria. It focuses on ensuring compliance with Bulgarian National Revenue Agency requirements by providing tools for digital receipts, audit file generation, and currency conversion. Mipler's strength lies in its ability to analyze and visualize store data, making it suitable for merchants seeking to optimize their business based on data-driven insights. Its broad functionality makes it appealing to a wide range of e-commerce businesses. Take a NAP's strength is in its niche focus, providing essential tools for navigating the specific regulatory landscape of Bulgaria. It significantly simplifies the process of setting up and running an online store in Bulgaria, catering to merchants who need localized financial compliance solutions. The vast difference in the number of reviews (492 vs. 6) suggests a much wider adoption and longer market presence for Mipler.

Our Verdict
For general Shopify merchants seeking in-depth data analysis, custom reporting capabilities, and business intelligence, Mipler — Advanced Reports is the clear choice. Its rich feature set, AI assistance, and positive user reviews indicate a powerful solution for understanding and optimizing store performance. However, if a merchant is specifically starting or operating an online store in Bulgaria and needs assistance with complying with Bulgarian tax regulations, Take a NAP is the essential tool. Its focused feature set directly addresses the unique challenges of the Bulgarian market, making it invaluable for businesses in that region. Trying to use Mipler for Bulgarian compliance would be entirely inappropriate. Take a NAP has very specialized value for a small segment of all Shopify stores.
