Mipler — Advanced Reports vs Taxify: VAT Dual Price Displayfor Shopify (2026)
Mipler — Advanced Reports and Taxify: VAT Dual Price Display, while both listed under the 'Finances' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different needs. Mipler focuses on providing in-depth data analysis and reporting capabilities for Shopify stores, enabling merchants to visualize and understand their business performance through custom reports and dashboards. Its strength lies in its ability to integrate various data points, including metafields and tags, and its user-friendly AI assistant for report creation and modification. Taxify, on the other hand, addresses the specific requirement of displaying VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices, primarily targeting merchants selling to both B2B and B2C customers or operating in regions with diverse VAT regulations. Its key value proposition is price transparency and compliance with varying VAT laws. The primary difference between the two lies in their core functionality. Mipler empowers merchants to gain insights into their business through data analysis, whereas Taxify focuses on ensuring accurate price display and VAT compliance. Mipler offers extensive customization in report generation, while Taxify offers customization in VAT rule creation and price display styling. Given these differences, the choice between the two apps hinges on the specific needs of the merchant: those seeking a comprehensive data analysis solution will find Mipler more suitable, while those needing to manage VAT compliance and price transparency will benefit from Taxify.

Our Verdict
Mipler — Advanced Reports is the superior choice for merchants who require robust data analysis capabilities, custom reporting, and the ability to visualize key metrics. Its AI assistant and real-time support further enhance its appeal. However, Taxify: VAT Dual Price Display is specifically designed for a different need: managing VAT compliance and displaying prices with and without VAT.
Therefore, if you need comprehensive reporting and data analysis, choose Mipler. If your primary concern is displaying VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices to cater to diverse customer groups and comply with different VAT regulations, Taxify is the more appropriate solution. The low number of reviews for Taxify is something to consider, suggesting it's either very new or very niche.
