Our Verdict
RuffRuff Order Limits is the stronger recommendation for most Shopify merchants in 2026, primarily due to its established reputation and comprehensive feature set. The 5/5 rating and 15 reviews indicate user satisfaction and reliability. Its all-in-one approach, encompassing payment method restrictions, customer segmentation, and weight limits, offers broader control. MIT Cart & Order Limits, while promising condition-based restrictions and lifetime order limits, presents a higher risk due to the complete absence of user feedback. If a merchant specifically requires lifetime order limits and is comfortable being an early adopter with potentially limited support, MIT Cart & Order Limits *could* be considered. However, for most, RuffRuff provides a more proven and feature-rich solution.
