Our Verdict
Picture It: AR & Art Previews is the clear choice for merchants selling art, prints, or decor. Its augmented reality features directly address the challenge of visualizing artwork in a customer's space, and features like auto-framing and virtual showrooms add significant value. The built-in analytics will also provide useful insights.
Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC is better suited for merchants seeking to leverage user-generated content and video to showcase their products. Its general-purpose nature makes it adaptable to a wider range of product categories, and it is a better pick for shops selling anything beyond art that would benefit from video reviews and social proof.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Picture It likely requires some initial setup to import dimensions and customize the AR experience, but auto-framing should ease the workload. Moast's setup will likely vary depending on the user's existing content and video infrastructure.
Which app is more affordable?
The data provided doesn't include pricing information. Pricing should be a key consideration when making a final decision.
Can Picture It be used for products other than art?
While primarily designed for art, the virtual showroom functionality could potentially be adapted for other decor items or furniture, but that's not the core use case as described. The usefulness outside of art depends on the app's detailed features and customizability.
Does Moast support integration with social media platforms?
While the listing mentions UGC, the specific social media integrations are not listed.
Which app provides better customer support?
The app store rating and review counts can be a rough indicator of support quality. Picture It has a strong rating as well, but Moast has triple the reviews. However, neither of those guarantees better customer support.
