Our Verdict
Shopney is the clear choice for Shopify merchants who have, or are planning to launch, a mobile app and wish to promote its download and usage directly from their website. Pixelfy is much better suited for merchants who rely heavily on Facebook and TikTok advertising and are concerned about the impact of iOS 14+ updates and ad blockers on their tracking accuracy. If accurate ad data and multi-pixel management are critical for your marketing strategy, Pixelfy is the more appropriate solution.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps claim to be user-friendly. However, Pixelfy explicitly states 'no coding required' for multi-pixel installation. While Shopney's function seems inherently straightforward, it's best to test the app's UI for ease of use.
Which app is better for improving ROI on Facebook ads?
Pixelfy is designed to improve ROI on Facebook and TikTok ads by providing more accurate tracking data, especially in the face of iOS 14+ limitations and ad blockers. Shopney doesn't directly impact ad ROI, but aims to increase mobile app downloads which may indirectly improve ROI of app-based marketing efforts.
Does Mobile App Banner ‑ Shopney address iOS 14+ tracking limitations?
No, Mobile App Banner ‑ Shopney does not mention addressing iOS 14+ tracking limitations. Its focus is solely on promoting mobile app downloads.
If I don't use Facebook or TikTok ads, do I need Pixelfy?
If you don't utilize Facebook or TikTok ads (or Snapchat and 'more tracking' platforms that Pixelfy supports), Pixelfy's features are largely irrelevant to your needs.
Which app has better customer support?
Pixelfy highlights 'Rapid Support from a Team with Extensive Direct-to-Consumer Industry Experience,' suggesting a focus on responsive customer service. While Shopney's support quality isn't explicitly stated, it's worthwhile to check reviews for mentions of support responsiveness for both apps.
