Mobile App Builder ‑ Apptile vs SoldLive: FB & IG Live Sellingfor Shopify (2026)
Mobile App Builder - Apptile and SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling cater to distinct needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the Images and Media, Video and Livestream categories. Apptile focuses on creating native mobile apps (iOS and Android) using AI-assisted, no-code tools, targeting merchants who want a dedicated mobile presence and personalized shopping experience. It promises increased sales conversions and retention via features like push notifications and live selling within the app itself. SoldLive, on the other hand, is purpose-built for merchants leveraging Facebook and Instagram live streams for sales. It automates the live shopping experience by managing orders, invoices, and follow-ups through FB/IG Messenger, effectively acting as an AI sales agent. Its key strength lies in streamlining the live selling process on existing social media platforms, targeting merchants already active in social commerce. While both apps provide solutions that can potentially boost sales, their approaches are very different. Apptile builds a separate mobile storefront while SoldLive optimizes the existing social media selling process.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
SoldLive likely offers a faster setup since it integrates directly with existing Facebook and Instagram accounts and Shopify inventory. Apptile requires building an entire mobile app, which, despite being no-code, still involves more initial design and configuration.
Which app is more expensive?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to say definitively. However, consider that Apptile potentially involves ongoing development and maintenance costs associated with a mobile app, while SoldLive's cost likely depends on usage and features within the live selling platform.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it might be redundant. If you use SoldLive to drive sales, then Mobile App Builder - Apptile could be used to further engage the customers from SoldLive. However, there could be overlap and the customer experience should be carefully considered.
Which app provides better customer support?
The rating of 5/5 for Apptile suggests strong satisfaction from users, which may be due to the quality of their customer service. However, without further data on support channels and response times for both apps, it's impossible to make a definitive conclusion.
Which app is better for building brand loyalty?
Mobile App Builder ‑ Apptile likely offers more tools for building brand loyalty. Because the app exists solely to promote your brand and product, it's much easier to integrate loyalty program elements and exclusive deals compared to a 3rd party platform like Facebook or Instagram.
