Our Verdict
If you're a technically savvy merchant needing granular control over volume discounts, particularly targeting specific customer segments using metafields, MOD Discounts could be a valuable asset. However, given the limited review count, proceed with caution and consider thorough testing. For merchants prioritizing customer retention and looking for a straightforward solution to re-engage past customers with personalized product recommendations via email, Recomailer Personalized Emails is the more suitable choice. The higher review count suggests greater reliability and user satisfaction.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your specific needs and technical expertise. If you lack the resources to manage complex discounting rules, Recomailer Personalized Emails is likely the better option. If your focus is on optimizing average order value and you possess the technical skills to leverage MOD Discount's advanced features, it could provide a competitive edge, although more caution is advised due to the single review.
