MOD: Lookbook vs Storista Shoppable Video Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
MOD: Lookbook and Storista Shoppable Video Reels both enhance the visual experience on Shopify stores but cater to distinct needs. MOD: Lookbook focuses on creating static, visually rich lookbooks where products are linked within images. Its strength lies in its easy-to-use interface for crafting curated collections. Conversely, Storista leverages the power of video, transforming TikTok, Instagram Reels, and UGC into shoppable experiences. It's designed to boost engagement and conversions through dynamic, interactive video content. While both apps technically fall under the 'Image Gallery' category, their execution is vastly different. MOD: Lookbook offers control over the presentation of curated static images and linked products, best suited for showcasing styling and specific collections. Storista aims to inject social proof and trend-driven video content onto the store, capitalizing on user-generated content and the popularity of short-form videos for increased conversions. The choice between them depends on whether the merchant prioritizes curated styling or dynamic video content and social proof.
