Our Verdict
The choice between Modalyst for Suppliers and Selling Point hinges entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If you are a supplier seeking to expand your reach and connect with retailers, Modalyst for Suppliers is the clear choice. Its retailer network and catalog tools are specifically designed to address this need. However, if you are a merchant migrating to Shopify from another platform or looking to streamline your gift card and store credit management, Selling Point is the more relevant option. It offers a focused solution for transferring and managing gift card assets efficiently. Although Selling Point boasts a higher rating, the relatively low review count compared to Modalyst suggests that the app may be newer or serve a narrower niche. Both apps focus on selling online, but the specific requirements differ widely, meaning that neither app can be objectively called better than the other in all circumstances.
