Modash Influencer Marketing vs Trusted Shops reviews and morefor Shopify (2026)
Modash Influencer Marketing and Trusted Shops reviews and more, both categorized under 'Social trust - Other,' offer distinct approaches to enhancing trust and driving sales on Shopify. Modash, with a perfect 5/5 rating (based on a small sample of 10 reviews), likely focuses on leveraging influencer endorsements to build brand credibility and reach new audiences. This is a relatively small number of reviews, so although it has a perfect score it may not be the most statistically accurate. Trusted Shops, on the other hand, centers around collecting and showcasing customer reviews, providing buyer protection, and earning a quality seal to instill confidence in potential buyers. With a 4.3/5 rating and 47 reviews, Trusted Shops appears to be a more established solution, particularly within the European market, due to its claim of reaching over 45 million online shoppers across Europe. Trusted Shops explicitly aims to improve conversion rates and increase shopping cart values by building trust through customer reviews and buyer protection. The integration of the Trustbadge is key to this strategy. Modash's value proposition, based on the limited information, is more inferred. It targets brand building and reach expansion through influencer marketing, which can indirectly contribute to trust and sales. The target audiences also differ significantly. Modash likely targets merchants who want to leverage the power of social media influencers, whereas Trusted Shops focuses on merchants prioritizing transparency and customer feedback, particularly those operating within or targeting the European market.

Our Verdict
For merchants targeting the European market and prioritizing trust-building through customer reviews, buyer protection, and the Trusted Shops quality seal, Trusted Shops reviews and more is the more appropriate choice. It offers a well-defined system for collecting, managing, and showcasing reviews, directly impacting conversion rates and cart values. However, for merchants seeking to leverage influencer marketing to expand their reach and build brand awareness, especially if operating globally, Modash Influencer Marketing might be a better fit, although the limited review count necessitates cautious evaluation. Consider that Modash is only rated highly by 10 reviewers, so consider further research before choosing them.
Common Questions
Which app is better for improving conversion rates?
Trusted Shops directly addresses conversion rate improvement through customer reviews, trust badges, and buyer protection, making it a more likely choice for this goal.
Which app is better for expanding brand awareness?
Modash, focused on influencer marketing, likely provides a better avenue for expanding brand awareness by reaching new audiences through influencer endorsements. Though this is not directly stated.
Which app is easier to implement and manage?
Based on the descriptions, Trusted Shops, with its Trustbadge integration and review management platform, appears to offer a more straightforward implementation and management process compared to potentially complex influencer sourcing and relationship management with Modash.
Is Trusted Shops only for European markets?
While Trusted Shops boasts a reach of over 45 million online shoppers across Europe, it doesn't explicitly state that it's exclusively for European markets. Its services may still be beneficial for merchants outside of Europe, but its primary focus and reach are clearly within Europe.
What are the risks of using an app with only 10 reviews?
An app with a low number of reviews, like Modash in this scenario, may not have a statistically significant rating. Its perfect 5/5 rating could be skewed by a small, potentially biased, group of users. It's wise to seek more information before making a decision.
