Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming to establish a robust and complete social media presence with shoppable feeds directly from Instagram and TikTok, MP Instagram Feed - Instafeed is the better choice. Its comprehensive feature set, from multiple layout options to UGC support, provides a holistic solution. However, for merchants prioritizing website speed and focused video integration across multiple touchpoints within the store, Spark - Reels Video Slider offers superior flexibility. Spark is especially suitable for merchants looking to add product-specific videos or use videos to boost conversion on specific pages without compromising performance.
The decision depends on the merchant's marketing strategy. If a broad social media presence is the goal, Instafeed is better. If strategic video placements and store speed are key, Spark wins. The significant difference in review count should be considered. The smaller sample size for Spark indicates that the 5-star average should be viewed cautiously, as it might not reflect the app's long-term performance as compared to Instafeed.
