Our Verdict
Choosing between these apps depends entirely on your specific needs. If you're planning to migrate an existing store to Shopify or import data from another platform, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is the obvious choice. Its high review count suggests reliability and a proven track record in handling store migrations.
However, if you're already on Shopify and actively utilizing metafields to enhance your product pages or customize your store, Native Metafields provides a more focused solution for managing and manipulating this data efficiently. While it has fewer reviews, its explicit focus on metafield management, including bulk editing and export capabilities, makes it a better fit for merchants deeply invested in metafield customization. Merchants without a need for metafields will not benefit from Native Metafields.
