For the vast majority of Shopify merchants, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is the clearly superior choice, particularly if their primary need is to move their store to Shopify. The positive rating and substantial number of reviews instill confidence in its reliability and ease of use.
Rakuten Ichiba (JP) is only suitable for merchants specifically targeting the Japanese market and already selling or planning to sell on the Rakuten Ichiba platform. The extremely low rating warrants extreme caution; thorough investigation and possibly testing with a development store are essential before committing to this app. It is likely that the app suffers from bugs, poor support, or limited features.
