MP ‑ Store Migration & Import vs Sellbritefor Shopify (2026)
MP ‑ Store Migration & Import (MP) and Sellbrite serve fundamentally different purposes for Shopify merchants in 2026. MP specializes in facilitating store migration and data import, focusing on getting a merchant's data into Shopify. Sellbrite, on the other hand, is a multi-channel listing and inventory management tool, connecting a Shopify store to major online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Walmart. While both touch on 'Selling online' within the Shopify ecosystem, their functionalities do not overlap significantly. MP appears to be a point-solution, designed for a specific one-time task: migrating an existing store or importing data into Shopify. Its high rating suggests users are satisfied with its performance in this area. Sellbrite caters to merchants already operating a Shopify store and looking to expand their reach by selling on multiple online marketplaces. Its core value proposition is centralized product and inventory management, along with streamlined order fulfillment, to ease the complexities of multi-channel sales. Sellbrite prioritizes inventory synchronization to prevent overselling across channels and allows for warehouse location management. In comparing the apps, the number of reviews are relatively similar, however, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import does enjoy a higher rating. This could be attributable to it being a single task, making it less complex to review. Sellbrite is a comprehensive solution for marketplace management, and reviews may be impacted by more complex implementation/usage issues.

Our Verdict
The choice between MP ‑ Store Migration & Import and Sellbrite hinges entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant is migrating to Shopify from another platform or needs to import a significant amount of data, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is the more appropriate choice. Its 5-star rating suggests a reliable and efficient migration process.
However, if a merchant is already established on Shopify and seeks to expand their sales channels to major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Walmart, Sellbrite is the clear winner. Despite a slightly lower rating, Sellbrite's functionalities provide a comprehensive solution for managing listings, inventory, and order fulfillment across these channels, centralizing operations within Shopify. The apps address different needs, and the selection depends on whether the goal is data migration vs. multi-channel sales expansion.
