MP ‑ Store Migration & Import vs SquareifyBulkfor Shopify (2026)
MP ‑ Store Migration & Import and SquareifyBulk both operate within the 'Bulk editor' category on Shopify, but appear to serve distinctly different merchant needs. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import boasts a perfect 5-star rating based on a substantial 109 reviews, suggesting high user satisfaction and likely robust functionality related to its name. Its name indicates its focus on assisting merchants migrating to Shopify or importing data into their existing store, implying data manipulation and management features. SquareifyBulk, on the other hand, while holding a respectable 4.8-star rating, only has 4 reviews. This suggests it's either a newer app, serves a very niche segment, or hasn't achieved wide adoption yet. Given its name and low review count, SquareifyBulk likely focuses on specific bulk editing tasks, perhaps related to image formatting or content optimization (speculative given the 'Squareify' portion of its name). Without more feature details, the apps are difficult to directly compare feature-by-feature, but the review volume strongly suggests MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is more established and addresses a broader user base, likely those undergoing significant store transitions. Conversely, SquareifyBulk *may* offer a more targeted solution for stores looking for specific bulk modifications but the review count creates uncertainty. Merchants should investigate each app further to validate features based on their particular requirements, beyond the given information. However, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import's high rating and review count provide a stronger signal of broader applicability and reliability.

Our Verdict
Based on the limited information, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import seems like a safer bet for merchants undergoing a store migration or needing to import a significant amount of data. Its higher rating and much larger review count indicate greater user satisfaction and a more robust, reliable product. It's also a more comprehensive option.
SquareifyBulk might be a suitable choice if a merchant has a very specific, targeted bulk editing task that its name implies it addresses (e.g., automatically squaring images), but the extremely low review count suggests proceeding with caution and thoroughly investigating its capabilities before committing. Due to the uncertainly surrounding SquareifyBulk's scope, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import would be a better starting point for most merchants looking at bulk editing functionality.
