MP ‑ Website Speedy vs Refresh+for Shopify (2026)
MP ‑ Website Speedy and Refresh+ both aim to improve the Shopify store experience but address very different aspects. MP ‑ Website Speedy focuses on optimizing website loading speed to enhance SEO, advertising ROI, and overall engagement. Its primary goal is to improve Core Web Vitals by implementing techniques like asynchronous loading and lazy loading. This app targets merchants concerned with slow page load times impacting their SEO rankings and conversion rates. In contrast, Refresh+ tackles the problem of content staleness. It ensures customers always see the most up-to-date information from the Shopify Admin, addressing issues with product updates, blog posts, and general content changes not immediately reflecting on the storefront. Refresh+ is geared towards merchants who frequently update their store content and want to guarantee a consistent and accurate experience for their customers. The main differentiator between the apps lies in their core function: one focuses on speed optimization, while the other concentrates on real-time content updates. While both ultimately contribute to a better user experience, they address distinct challenges and appeal to merchants with differing priorities. The current lack of reviews and ratings for Refresh+ makes it difficult to assess its reliability and effectiveness compared to MP - Website Speedy, which has a perfect rating, albeit based on a small sample size.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving their website's performance in terms of speed and SEO, MP ‑ Website Speedy appears to be the more compelling option, particularly given its current rating. Its features directly address Core Web Vitals and claim to improve ad ROI. However, the low review count necessitates further scrutiny. Refresh+ is suited for merchants who prioritize ensuring their customers always see the latest changes in their store, especially those who frequently update their product listings, blog posts, or other content. Its lack of reviews and ratings is a significant drawback, making it a riskier choice until user feedback becomes available. If content updates are infrequent, the benefits of Refresh+ may be limited.
