MP ‑ Website Speedy vs ShopScanfor Shopify (2026)
MP ‑ Website Speedy and ShopScan both target Shopify merchants looking to improve their website's performance, particularly regarding speed and SEO. However, they approach this goal in fundamentally different ways. MP ‑ Website Speedy positions itself as a hands-on solution that automatically implements optimizations to enhance website speed and improve metrics like Core Web Vitals. It claims to directly impact ROAS, CPA, and conversions. In contrast, ShopScan focuses on providing merchants with data and insights from Google PageSpeed Insights, allowing them to analyze their site's performance without any automated adjustments. ShopScan is for merchants who want granular control and prefer to analyze and implement changes themselves based on the data it provides. MP ‑ Website Speedy is geared towards merchants who want a more automated, hands-off solution that directly implements speed optimizations. The critical difference lies in the level of control and the automation offered: one provides raw data, while the other claims to offer immediate optimization.

Our Verdict
For merchants who prioritize a hands-off approach and want immediate speed improvements without delving into technical details, MP ‑ Website Speedy is the better choice. Its claimed features like asynchronous loading and lazy loading offer a quick way to enhance website performance. However, the relatively low number of reviews should be considered.
On the other hand, ShopScan is ideal for technically inclined merchants or those with dedicated developers who want to understand the specific issues affecting their site's performance. The ability to run multiple scan types and save scans for later reference offers a granular view of website health. If you prefer data-driven decisions and want to implement changes yourself, ShopScan provides the necessary insights, but be prepared for manual work.
