Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants with high-traffic websites featuring dynamic content and a reliance on 3rd-party apps, Speed Kit seems like the better choice. Its specialized PWA technology and cloud-based acceleration offer potentially significant performance gains in complex scenarios. However, the low number of reviews introduces more risk.
For smaller to medium-sized businesses or those looking for a more general solution to website speed issues, especially where improving ad ROI is a key focus, MP ‑ Website Speedy provides a more accessible and arguably more immediately beneficial approach. Its focus on fundamental optimization techniques and a track record, reflected in the higher number of reviews, may make it the safer bet for a broader range of merchants.
