MRPeasy Manufacturing ERP vs Order Fulfillment Guru OMSfor Shopify (2026)
MRPeasy Manufacturing ERP and Order Fulfillment Guru OMS both address inventory management, but target vastly different Shopify merchants. MRPeasy focuses on small manufacturers and distributors (up to 200 employees) requiring comprehensive ERP/MRP solutions. It provides tools for production planning, inventory control, procurement, customer relations, and even basic financial management, all integrated with Shopify. Its strength lies in providing an end-to-end manufacturing and inventory management system. Order Fulfillment Guru OMS, on the other hand, caters to merchants with multiple stores, warehouses, or those utilizing dropshipping or multi-vendor marketplaces. Its focus is on efficient order routing, splitting orders across different locations/vendors, and syncing inventory and orders across multiple Shopify stores, leveraging automation and integration with services like ShipStation. Essentially, MRPeasy is for those who *make* things, while Order Fulfillment Guru is for those who *distribute* or *fulfill* things, often from multiple sources or to multiple locations. MRPeasy manages the manufacturing process itself, while Order Fulfillment Guru streamlines the logistics and fulfillment process, particularly when dealing with complex order routing scenarios. While both touch on inventory, MRPeasy’s inventory management is directly tied to the manufacturing process (BOM control, lead time calculation), whereas Order Fulfillment Guru's inventory management is centered on maintaining consistency across different selling channels and fulfillment locations.
