MS Barcode Labels & Generator vs Store Seek Store Locatorfor Shopify (2026)
MS Barcode Labels & Generator and Store Seek Store Locator are distinct Shopify apps catering to different aspects of in-person selling. MS Barcode Labels focuses on streamlining product management and labeling within a retail environment. Its strength lies in its barcode and SKU generation capabilities, label design flexibility, and integration with Stocky for efficient label printing. The app is highly rated with a significant number of positive reviews, suggesting a reliable and user-friendly experience. Store Seek Store Locator, on the other hand, prioritizes helping customers locate physical stores or pickup points. Its core function is to provide a store finder map that is customizable and mobile-friendly. While it boasts features like bulk location uploads and multilingual support, its lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise concerns about its usability and effectiveness. The apps both fall under the 'Selling in person' category, but where MS Barcode Label is involved in backend process and inventory management, Store Seek Store Locator is for the front-end customer shopping experience.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing barcode label generation, SKU creation, and printing capabilities, MS Barcode Labels & Generator is the clear choice. Its strong rating, numerous positive reviews, and Stocky integration suggest a reliable and effective solution. The drag-and-drop label design feature further enhances its usability.
Store Seek Store Locator is suitable only for merchants whose top priority is to provide a store locator map for their customers. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating are significant red flags. Businesses should thoroughly test this app before committing to it, and consider thoroughly researching alternatives. It may be a good option for a newly launched store in 2026, however, until it proves it's efficacy, merchants may want to choose an alternative with established reviews.
